The beginning of our consciousness marks the beginning of our elemental need to create. It's said that a child's life is a blank page on which anything can be written.
Fortunately most of us find ourselves in the care of loving, nurturing parents at this stage. They are and act as role models, guides disciplinarians, and friends for life.
It's a time for dreams and childish mind-games, lovingly encouraged by our parents.
Whilst their tutelage is slavishly followed in our younger years, we accept is as less and less dogmatic as we encounter other teachers and develop a sense of choice and discrimination.
At this stage we either go one or the other of TWO ways:
Those who fall into the second, live interesting lives. Some live interesting and fulfilling lives, others, lives of stress and conflict with the status quo.
I believe we can mitigate stress and conflict by harmonizing the seemingly divergent parts of the jigsaw of our life.
We'll put the pieces of the jigsaw on the table and study them next Monday.
